Favorite Karma Project

Mama’s Cookies! I was so inspired by its entrepreneurial and passionate founder, Colleen. She had a vision to increase and improve the quality of breastmilk for mothers via three natural ingredients: oats, flax, and brewer’s yeast. We got to do it all: branding, web design, packaging, content creation… With our help, Collen was able to expand her product line, donate 5% of profits to OneMama, and at its peak, sell in 9 retail locations throughout the Bay Area.

Zone of Genius

Anything brand! My happy place is the intersection of human nature and business. I’ve always been fascinated by how companies market themselves, and whether they’re saying the right thing to the right audience at the right time in the right way. It’s not easy! But my life experience, including working as a wilderness guide in Alaska, gives me the confidence to guide our clients through the creative wilderness.

Favorite Tech Tool

Notion has been a game-changer for our studio. We use it for our CRM, lead generation, creative talent recruitment, internal projects, creative workflow, client project management, team building, and more. Thank you, Audrey, for showing us how powerful it can be!

Dream Client

Alaska Airlines! I know, I know—why would an environmentalist elect an airline as their dream client? I believe that every company can lead the way for more socially and environmentally responsible practices in its industry. People are always going to fly. And, there are ways even an airline can stand up for DEI, and reduce its carbon footprint.

Volunteer Work

I loved volunteering with the National Ski Patrol! It was the opposite of working on a screen, yet still just as much as about helping people, reducing suffering, and solving problems. As a patroller, I worked in harsh alpine conditions maintaining a safe environment for skiers and boarders, assisted with avalanche control, emergency medical response, trail maintenance, and lift evacuation.

Did you say fun?

Latin dance! My favorite is bachata, and I also love salsa. My favorite part is, for once, NOT being the leader. With dance, I’m happy being a follower. It’s actually more challenging for me to do that—to let go, pay attention, and let someone else take charge. I also love the diversity of dance; at a Latin club, I can easily dance with people from 10 different cultural backgrounds in one night. It’s so important to interact with people who are different than you!
